Welcome to Fifth Grade!

Students are working hard to prepare for Geography Day.  They have finished their written reports and oral presentations and did a wonderful job!  We are working together in class to transform Room 8 into a "mini-Morocco".  Please bring in empty glass jars for a related art project to be completed next week.


Here are some samples of Geography Day projects:


 

 

 

  • Language test scheduled for January 24th has been postponed to January 31st.

  • In February the 5th graders will work on a creative writing project about what Valentine's Day means to them.  We will then work together as a class to combine our thoughts and words into a presentation during the Valentine's Day Tea on February 10th.  You won't want to miss it!
